[:nl]Door een Google-search naar wat stamboomgerelateerde zaken, stuitte ik op een interessante nieuwe bron: wetsvoorstellen met betrekking tot naturalisatie/het verkrijgen van het Nederlanderschap. Immers, naturalisatie tot Nederlander moet middels een formele wet.
De wetsvoorstellen (of: wetsontwerpen) zijn te vinden via de archiefsite van de Staten-Generaal (Eerste Kamer en Tweede Kamer): http://www.statengeneraaldigitaal.nl (1814-1995).
Als je in het zoekveld de gewenste achternaam intikt, in combinatie met het woord “Nederlanderschap”, vind je de verschillende wetsvoorstellen betreffende naturalisatie van familieleden. Het voorstel van wet bevat een lijst van personen die genaturaliseerd worden, inclusief geboorteplaats, geboortedatum, huidig beroep en woonplaats.
Bij veel wetsvoorstellen hoort ook een zogenaamde “Memorie van toelichting”. Hierin staat vaak de reden van naturalisatie, inclusief een korte levensbeschrijving.
Van De Calonne waren er helaas niet veel te vinden (twee stuks). Van de Depokse families (waaronder Bacas) veel meer. De gegevens uit de wetsvoorstellen en memories van toelichting worden vanzelfsprekend per persoon verwerkt in de database hier op de website.

Een alfabetisch overzicht van naturalisaties tot 1934 (en daarmee voor onderzoek naar emigratie vanuit Nederlands-Indië na de tweede wereldoorlog minder interessant) is te vinden via de site van het Historisch Genootschap Valkenswaard.[:en]While searching for some other genealogical data, I accidentally bumped into a interesting new source of genealogical information: legislative proposals regarding naturalization/receiving the Dutch nationality. Naturalization of an individual is done by formal law. The legislative proposals/bills can be searched through the archive website of the First and Second Chambers of the Dutch States General: http://www.statengeneraaldigitaal.nl (1814-1995, in Dutch of course).
If you search by last name and the word “Nederlanderschap”, you will find various proposals regarding naturalization of individuals. The proposal includes a list of naturalized individuals and their dates and places of birth, current occupation and their current profession (if any). Also, a lot of the proposals are combined with a explanatory statement (“Memorie van Toelichting”). This statement provides the reasons of naturalization and sometimes even a short biography of the naturalized individual.
Unfortunately I couldn’t find many De Calonne-naturalizations (only two). There are plenty on the Depok-families (such as Bacas) though.
All the data from the proposals and statements is put into the website’s database, and is visible at the personal page of the individual it concerns. You can check some examples of legislative proposals and a explanatory statement.
